Hello everyone!

Right now I am planning my two-week-trip to japan, and I thought I would blog about it. During the trip I will post a few updates whenever I feel like it, and I will also post a summary at the end of the trip. So stay tuned for new posts so you don’t miss out.

Anyways, here’s the plan.
I will be in Japan for two weeks, and I will stay in three different cities.
I will stay four days in the Hakone village, one week in Kyoto and three days in Tokyo.

I will get to Hakone Village very late on monday the 29th of June and will leave for the next destination saturday morning.
While I’m there I will live in a hotel and I will mostly just relax and enjoy the views. But I am hoping to go hiking one day to see Mototsumiya and the Hakone shrine, if the weather allows it

The next stop is kyoto. There I will live with a hostfamily for a week, the family consist of Kazuko, her oldest daughter Hatsu, a younger boy named Haru and two baby twins named Hoshi and Jin.
I’ve had contact with Hatsu, who is the same age as me, through letters and emails for about a year and it will be really nice seeing her for the first time.
We planned my stay with the family at this time so that I would be able to celebrate the japanese star-festival, Tanabata with the family. Tanabata is celebrated july seventh and I have wanted to experience it ever since I heard about it for the first time so I really look forward to it.

I will leave for Tokyo before noon the next saturday and will hopefully arrive in time for lunch. In tokyo I would like to try a capsule hotel, because it seems to be quite an experience, but I haven’t booked anything yet.
I will probably go shopping a bit, but since that is not something I really enjoy doing I will try and find something else to do, like go to a muséum or walk around in some nice parks.

I don’t really have everything planned out yet, so if you wanna know what fun activities I find you will have to stick around.
